We stock a wide range of products including seeds, gloves, fleece, blood fish and bone, compost, Growmore, netting, string and bean poles, and much more, ee also order seeds and potatoes for you.

Our store is run by fellow gardeners, so please come and pay us a visit.

Opening hours : Sundays 9.00am to 12.00pm, Thursdays - 6.30pm to 8.00pm (April & May only)

13/08/25 - Potato order forms now in store

Potato forms are now available at the Thurston Store, Old Stoke Road Allotments (open 9-12 every Sunday), or alternatively download the form, complete at home and bring it with you to the store (2025/2026 Potato Order form)
Trial potato is the main crop 'Apache' available in 1kg batches @ £1.80
Last day for ordering is Sunday 26th October.

08/01/25 - Reminder : 2025 AGS Annual Membership renewal due

AGS Annual Membership is now due for renewal from the 1st January 2025, membership can be renewed as usual in the store during Sunday opening hours. Unfortunately, due to the rising running costs of the store we have, under great consideration, we taken the decision to increase the membership fee to £4.00. The store continues to provide a good range of products, value for money and expert advice, the AGS thank you for your continued support.
